Middle School Athletics Update
We are aware that misinformation has been circulating regarding middle school athletics, and we would like to clarify the situation.
Browning Middle School will continue to offer every middle school sport with slight schedule changes. Our student-athletes will have the opportunity to practice, compete, and represent our school throughout each season.
The only change is that the 1B schools have chosen to withdraw from our previous conference and establish a new conference consisting exclusively of Class B schools. As a result, Browning is currently without a conference affiliation for middle school athletics.
This change means that:
- Browning is no longer included in the conference master schedule.
- Browning will not participate in the conference end-of-season tournament.
Despite these changes, our middle school athletic programs remain fully operational. We are committed to providing meaningful competitive opportunities by scheduling contests with available opponents and ensuring our student-athletes continue to have a positive and rewarding athletic experience.
We appreciate the continued support of our students, families, coaches, and community as we move forward and remain committed to providing quality athletic opportunities for all middle school students.
